"Amazing!! So happy I found this place.  I have really bad knees.  My Dr. told me to find a workout that would build strength in my legs without putting pressure on my knees, found it!!! I have only been here for 2 months and right away I noticed a huge improvement!  All of the Instructors are amazing!  They know I have knee issues so they give me modified options.  I started out with one day a week and kept increasing the days - now I'm at 5 days a week, not only are my knees feeling better but mentally I feel better, I'm starting to lose the weight I put on because of my knee injuries I acquired at another gym that used alot of impact.  I'm so happy now!"

“IRON & OARS is not just another workout studio.  After a workout, you not only want to come back again, you want to make it a permanent part of your lifestyle!  I thought I would just "try" this studio with a friend (thank you Rachel!!!) and have not worked out anywhere else since.  It is an amazing entire body workout, the low impact makes it possible to do at any stage in your life.  The owner and instructors are not just teaching classes they are truly doing what they were meant to do in life.  They are interested in you, your progress and bettering your life on so many levels.  Whatever your personal goals I think you will find a fit here.  I can't recommend this studio enough.  Give it a try, you will see it is different that any other gym in our area.  We will save a rower for you and can't wait to cheer you on!"

“A few months ago, I attended my first class at Iron and Oars with a friend. I was terribly out of shape and very nervous to give this a try but I knew I had to make a lifestyle change. I’m happy to say I’ve just completed my 75th class! You can work at your own pace with no pressure to perform. The instructors are all amazing and truly care about your health. They are excellent at modifying exercises if needed. Each class is different so you never get bored! I’ve dropped several pounds along the way but more importantly I feel stronger, have more endurance, sleep better and my mood is better! Do yourself a favor and check it out!! You won’t regret it!”

"Who would have thought rowing could be so much fun AND an amazing workout?!!!  IRON & OARS has introduced me to an unexpected type of cardio, where the classes include strength training and the time flies by.  Proper form and technique are emphasized by all of the awesome Instructors so I'm never concerned about getting injured.  Every class is different and each month there is a new goal to keep you motivated.  A huge bonus is that it's so reasonably priced.  Check it out, first class is free!"

"I have never been a group fitness person, I have always enjoyed running/walking by myself... however that approach doesn't always have the accountability that I have found I need.  In January of 2023, I made a commitment to put my health first and booked a 6:00 am class.  Now I have a whole friend group from that 6:00 am class - we do life together and push each other to be our very best selves.  I just completed a fitness assessment and rowing and strength training have balanced my body - I'm symmetrical for the first time!  Now my husband is trying out classes and loving it!
