Strength Training

At IRON & OARS, we believe that strength training is extremely important when improving fitness. Some of the direct benefits of our strength training include: improving muscle definition, boosting metabolism, improving heart health, and decreasing fat. Every workout is different from the others, ensuring that you never get bored. 

Rowing

Rowing is the perfect workout as it works 86% of your body while being one of the safest exercises as it doesn’t damage your joints. No other exercise compares to the benefits of rowing. It’s also perfect for all fitness levels as the resistance gets continually more difficult the fitter you are, which means that there’s no one too fit or not fit enough to get amazing results. Rowing has also been known to help cure long lasting joint pains and other injuries.

Flexibility

Flexibility is more than just stretching as it is crucial for all ages and fitness levels. At IRON & OARS, we understand this importance and how flexibility affects your mobility, strength, and overall range of motion. We make sure to use active mobility exercises at the beginning, middle, and end of every workout to increase flexibility. We utilize foam rollers, balls, straps, and blocks to help everyone improve their range of motion safely. Our flexibility focus is to prevent injury, alleviate pain and stiffness, and improve overall mobility. 

Nutrition Programming for Optimal Health

Nutrition plays an important role in achieving your fitness goals. Our personalized nutrition programs are designed to provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to fuel your body. We offer guidance on meal planning, food choices, and nutritional strategies to support your training and overall health.
